Ken Morales – Filmmaker, Director, Educator
Ken Morales is a passionate and versatile filmmaker with a rich background in both music and film. His journey into filmmaking began in the music industry, where he developed a deep appreciation for storytelling through visuals. This passion soon led him to transition into film, studying at Columbia Hollywood and earning a degree in Television and Film Production.
Upon graduating, Ken dove headfirst into the industry with internships at New Line Cinema, Warner Bros., and various other prominent production companies. These early experiences provided him with invaluable insight into the world of film and laid the foundation for his diverse career.
Ken has worked in a wide range of roles across many productions, from being involved in directing and producing to handling multiple departments on set. Notable projects include his work on "Golgotha" and "The Hideout", where his leadership as director and producer helped shape the creative vision. Additionally, Ken played a pivotal role on productions like "The Man Who Knew He Could Fly", where he wore many hats in the production process.
Ken’s expertise also extends to the music industry, where he collaborated on numerous music videos with well-known artists, adding his distinct style to the visual representation of their work. His ability to blend the world of music and film has made him a sought-after collaborator in both industries.
Beyond his work as a filmmaker, Ken has shared his knowledge and passion for the craft through education. He taught at the collegiate level, serving as the Department Chair for film studies. In his role, Ken taught courses from Film 101 to Advanced Film Productions (Film 104), inspiring a new generation of filmmakers with his hands-on approach and in-depth knowledge of the industry.
